The play with Freeman and Swanson was the best play that I have ever seen.

Well, this win in game one takes the pressure off in this series
First they cut the magic number by two vs the Fish & the Wexpos did us a little favor beating Philly
With Hamels scratched off tomorrow night, had we lost the pressure of losing the first two and them really closing in is off
Hence, in a sense to me this was a MUST WIN and they got it done, overall good job
All they really need to do now is take one of three vs these guys and move on - you know they will win one vs a bad Boston team
Magic Number 3 - good

Pull him out. This game is about to get put out of reach early. The marlins are a better team through and through. Your comments don't seem to age well. Remember back in like game 4 when you said we needed to face the fact that we weren't a good team, or the 15 times since then when you claimed our season was over and we shouldn't even finish it out? Good times...

That they got this game one and took alot of pressure off themselves, this sort of has the feel of a division clinch - I am confident they win one more and it takes the bite of Hamels not being able to go being softer
Just did not want to have a chance of getting down 2-0 in this series
As for Melancon, hey I will take his less than 1.00 WHIP anyday, he is good enough for me. As long as he averages one baserunner in an innings he starts, he gets the save
Some teams would kill for that.
You think the Nats would be glad to give us their closer Hudson for Melancon? They would be fools if they could of course we will not do that

Ynoa left game with a crack in the nail of his right middle finger. #Braves don't think it's a big issue.

Ozunas weak arm gives you no chance for a play at home. Evar. He couldn't throw out McCann trying to score from second.

On the other hand when Martin gave up that lead off double I sat here and thought there's good chance he'll get out of this without giving up a run. Just my perception I guess. Of course a 0.53 ERA, a 0.47 WHIP, and 19 K's/2 BB in 17 innings doesn't hurt either!

The Freeman/Swanson play in the 9th is one of finest plays I have ever seen. Freddie had to lead a running Swansby in a situation where throwing the ball away meant a tie game. It was incredibly heads up by both players and incredibly hard to execute.
