Acuna sure gets pitched way inside a lot. Yeah... he's vulnerable to it as a hitter, plus everyone knows it pisses him off and throws him off his game.... .. which it does

Yeah... he's vulnerable to it as a hitter, plus everyone knows it pisses him off and throws him off his game.... .. which it does The 2 biggest things he needs to work on are the inside pitch (especially if it's up) and the mental aspect of the game. His body language is horrible sometimes.

Fried has been somewhat wild today.

I'd take Fried out after 5 tonight even if he's cruising.

Well the hitting is back on track tonight. Never have too many runs in this game
I would not stretch Fried more than 5 and see how he feels
One thought is that this is the first time Acuna has faced real adversity since he has been up here, always seemed a bit too easy for him
He is going to have to adjust and be the more mature player once he gets through it. He has not faced this kind of adversity before. And pitchers will hit him where he is weak till he gets better at those inside pitches
Or, he will slip back as a player - I don't think he will be a Francoeur but ya never know

Freeman now batting .472 with five homers over the course of his 12 game hit streak.
During his 33 game on base streak, Freeman is hitting a cool .400 (48-for-120) with 13 doubles, 8 homers, 34 RBI, 28 runs and more walks (26) than strikeouts (14).

Fried now qualifies for the "W" With a 12-1 lead, that may be a real possibility.
