Puke doing what he does--taking us out of games where we kind of still had a chance, but he takes care of that.

Got to remember, does not matter about getting guys out, its striking em out this day in time. How long would he last with old school guys like Dick Williams and Billy Martin? LOL

Report: Braves Trade Yonder Alonso, Manny Machado's Brother-in-Law, to PadresThe San Diego Padres were able to do what the Chicago White Sox could not: get Manny Machado and his brother-in-law Yonder Alonso in the same organization. According to Dennis Lin of The Athletic, the Padres acquired Alonso from the Atlanta Braves on Tuesday for an undisclosed amount of cash. Lin says Alonso will report to the club's taxi squad. The White Sox signed Alonso in 2019 as part of their attempt to lure Machado via free agency. The first baseman remained in Chicago until the White Sox placed him on waivers in July of that year. The 33-year-old has yet to appear in a major league game this season and owns a career slash line of .259/.332/.404 with 100 home runs in 10 seasons. bleacherreport.com/articles/2904173-report-manny-machados-brother-in-law-yonder-alonso-traded-by-braves-to-padres

Too soon to say this team can't compete this year? Yes I think when we were 2-3 you posted that we just needed to accept that we were not good, then we went 7-2 on the homestand. We certainly have some issues as do many teams, but it's a wee bit early to say we can't compete.

Time to get Dansby away from the top of the lineup.
I don't know who should hit 1 and 2, but he needs to be moved down where he hits better.
His career numbers in the 1 and 2 spots are abysmal.
We've killed his mojo every time we've moved him up, I don't know how many times we have to go through this before we stop doing it.
