I think we need to treat the rest of the year like we're in a rebuild. Seems like the perfect time for an extended look at the kids. I mean, hell we've practically lost the entire rotation, so it obviously ain't meant to be this year.

You know this rotation as is will get the team eliminated first found once again if they do make the playoffs. Might as well punt 2020 and let the young kids get some playing time and an early look at what it is like pitching in the big leagues. 2020 is a lost cause in terms of playoffs, and rhe energy would be better spent on seeing what these young kids can do and start getting an early idea of what to do for 2021.

Get Ozuna out of left field. He should be DH 80% of the time! He’s also obviously in love with Adams in the fifth spot, two major mistakes. Adams is one of the streakiest hitters in baseball, and when he’s off (Which is most of the time) he’s useless. That bottom five in our lineup tonight is uuuuuuuugly. Thank god d’Arnaud isn’t in there again.

Did the United States give up when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

Does any of it really matter anymore? Are you giving up? Did the United States give up when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Yeah, I’m pretty much giving up. Even with Soroka, we needed at least one starter to step up to be playing meaningful baseball in late October. Now, it’s just next to impossible to fathom that Newk, Touki, Wright, etc are going to lead us to the Promised Land.
