The players sure were praising Snit after the comeback last night. Great season manager, terrible playoff manager.

What did Snitker do last night, pat the fellers on the rear end and tell them they could do it? He needs to spend some extree time working that magic on our 1 and 2 hitters.

Given Toussaint's history, the leash should be short and probably should be pulled after 4(if he makes it that far) regardless of if he actually pitches 4 good innngs or not. He much like Newcombe is extremely prone to the sudden implosion inning. Neither are really capable of starting pitching.

Jeff Passan on Twitter: In text conversations with teammates Friday, MLBPA player reps warned that if there is a big jump in COVID+ tests over the weekend, MLB season may be canceled. While it remains unclear what the threshold is, @craigmish is reporting the Cardinals have more than five new positives.

It's as good as over. Stupid as hell, but nothing you can do about it.

BTW, d'Arnaud can hit, but he can't throw worth a sheet.

His calmness would make a great third base coach and could still rub off on the players. If only we had someone at third base he could swap with who would be a really good baseball manager guy.....

It's as good as over. Stupid as hell, but nothing you can do about it. What could be done about it is weather the storm, it’s still a super low percentage of players overall who have tested positive. If they were going to cave this easily they should have never started playing in the first place.

The last I heard the teams combined were only going to make $4Billion this year instead of $10Billion, if that's accurate I'm not exactly shedding a tear for them.
