1.8% of all players and coaches.
And no mention whatsoever of how sick they actually are (or aren't). I wonder why.

Here's the real story within the story........."Combined, 11,149 tests have been conducted and the number of positives is 83, a percent positive rate of .7 percent. The acceptable rate is 5 percent. Most of those have been players and 28 of the 30 teams have a positive test". That's 7/10ths of 1 percent! It's a real wave, ain't it? That's how the MSM does it. They always bury the real news down in their articles.

At this point I am worn out with it that I am not even listening to the MSM anymore. Even local news tuning in sporadically.
Cannot wear down with this stuff.
Like Uckery, I am just trying to hang on to the enjoyment of what I have left for baseball and the game is getting harder and harder to keep the love for.
I am getting over it with the NFL - can take it or leave it at this point. No need to get into details
And entertainment - music of today is nearly unlistenable and movies and stuff - not my generation to be nice about it
MLB and NHL that is about all I have left. Getting more into the outdoors entertainment as time goes on.

I used to think someone was weird if they didn’t follow sports. Because it had been such a huge part of my life since I was two years old. I’m nearing being done. Baseball and the NHL are it for me and baseball is trying to work it’s way off my list.
There are milestones for each time sports became less important to me. Dave Parker’s fist giant contract. The death of Len Bias was really hard for me. Kappernick and how the NFL is acting now is it for me. There’s been other steps. If baseball has a strike after this season, done. Too many other things to do. I’m just a few years from retiring and doing some big time traveling and seeing things.

As sick as I am of the virus nonsense, I did run across a good website for real truthful info about the virus:
I saw a headline, CNN with Anderson Cooper yesterday screaming about how the virus has gone crazy again and is spreading so fiercely all over the land, like millions of us are still going to die from it.
This one chart sums it all up, I've been looking for this exact chart for months, and of course I couldn't find it because it didn't exist. Thank god I ran across this website it's the first chart they list, and it tells the truth:

The people that the pro sports organizations are bending over backwards to appease aren't even people who attend their games or ever will attend their games, plus, people like sports as an escape from all the BS they insist on bludgeoning fans over the head with. Makes no sense to me.

Makes no sense to me. NASCAR shot itself in the foot by turning it's back on it's real fans and trying to appeal to non race fans and paid for it dearly, going back 15-18 years now. The Bubba Wallace stuff is just a nice finishing touch. It will be real interesting to see how many people watch NFL and NBA games this year, and how many attend next year. I expect both leagues to be in for a real shock. Baseball could shoot itself in the foot with a strike, which I'm expecting to happen at this point.

NBA is safe....
It's only fans are thugs and gangs anyway.
Nascar and NFL football are the top two in order when it comes to those really trying to off themselves by alienating their fanbase.
Baseball I think will be okay as they haven't been as openly embracing things that will anger their fans. (At least until they strike).
Nascar takes the cake.. they seem intent on offing themselves. The NFL is just counting on the fact that football is truly America's thing now to get it through.
Baseballs demise may be more about a strike than anything political. An America that had to undergo the economic struggles it has had to endure will not be sympathetic towards millionaires striking for a better deal..

Being a life long Celtics fan, the death of Len Bias was a shock for me even as a 30 yr old fan at the time. I was in that area at the time. Coming off the 86 championship and with Bird, McHale and Parrish still with expected prime years left who knew how long it would take that franchise to recover. I thought for sure that group would have another championship or two left. Dam Lakers and later the Pistons and Bulls. That one still stings. This day in time I do not care about the NBA anymore I hope to do some traveling next yr, health and all other things permitting And I still intend to get to Cooperstown at some point in my life, the history of the game of baseball and how the game was is still with me though modern baseball just does not do it for me like it used to

NBA is safe.... It's only fans are thugs and gangs anyway. NBA has lost me with their love affair with China. And their best player is one of the most unlikable athletes in this century - speaking of Le Bron James. To hell with him and there is nothing to like about that league at this time I might check in if the Celtics are going far in the playoffs but that league as a whole, I have lost interest And the NFL is something I have no idea what to make of it now. And the media, they despise anyone who is not an elitist liberal. They are pushing an agenda & they will use anything including fear mongering to accomplish their objective. We are seeing it day in and day out. Tuned out to keep my sanity And the entertainment industrial complex -- worse than the MSM not to mention the no talents in today;s entertainment 21st century music - garbage for the most part

To outsiders those championship series were probably fun between the Celtics and Lakers, for me they were really life or death because I loved the Lakers and hated the Celtics so much.
I was a really big college basketball fan for a long time, and Len Bias was one of my favorite players to ever watch at that level. I truly believe he would have been one of the greatest NBA players to ever play the game. What a loss. The way he died took something from me--to this day I assume he was not a habitual drug user and this was a one time deal or at least once in awhile type thing and he just kind of had some bad luck that he died from it. I've never been into drugs and I have a really low opinion of anybody who ruins their life because of drugs. It changed the way I looked at him, I couldn't help it, even if it was the only time he ever did it. Another piece of my childhood innocence about sports was taken from me there.

Ridiculous. Now it's filtering to high schools as a team with the Indians nickname has been attacked by ONE person so they are contemplating changing the name. By the way...I heard that the Redskins new name will be the Warriors. Not sure how accurate that is.
