No.... it doesn't.
In fact what it takes not to do that is something pretty special... like an extra chromosome or something.

So, does management give Snit one more year to get this right, or do you guys think a change will be made this offseason?

Tommy Lasorda:
"In baseball and in business, there are three types of people. Those who make it happen. Those who watch it happen. And those who wonder what the hell happened." Snitker fits where?

This hurts me to say because I am the biggest Snit fan and supporter but it's time to Clean house its time for the Bobby Cox way to go away. I have no idea who we should hire but it should not be a young analytics type guy nor should it be a player friendly guy like Snit. We need a Lou Pinella type who will fight a player in the clubhouse if needed. And I think it needs to be an Hispanic coach. I wonder if Andres Galarraga would be interested in coaching. I think the entire Braves front office needs removed from the top Down liberty needs to completely rebuild the philosophy of the organization.

He knows that while Snit was the perfect guy to get us out of the rebuild and into contention, he isn't the guy to get us over the hump. It's a shame, because I would have liked to see his years of loyalty rewarded with a chance to win a championship.
But it's time to bring in someone from outside of the organization, to get away from "the Braves Way" ... hey, it worked with AA. Not sure who that guy would be, but it would not be surprising to see management do its due diligence to find the right leader, especially with all of the current and upcoming talent in the organization. They have a window, but it won't stay open for long.

I wonder how many Braves fans notation wide committed suicide last night? It happens with almost every playoff loss but it seems that last night after all these years of heartbreak the way we went devastatingly out of it coupled with the way we lost game 4 and the fact Acuna didn't run. I think it may be a higher number than usual

His loyalty was rewarded with a chance to win a championship. He just decided to run our players into the ground, including throwing Freddie right back into the lineup the very next day after he left a game grimacing in pain.... and then waited until game 3 of 5 game series to play our #1 starting pitcher.

Valid points, but at the end of the day, the players didn't get the job done. I'm not so sure that had Snit pushed all of the right buttons that this team at this time was ready to go all the way. Yesterday kind of proves that. Championship teams don't have complete meltdowns like they did in the 1st inning of an elimination game.
The team is trending in the right direction but they obviously are not there yet.

Snit's a good dude. There are lots of good dudes. Hell, I'm a good dude. Being a good dude doesn't give you a right to a job. Snit is not the man to manage these Braves any more than I am. It's time to part ways.

I get it. I mean at the end of the day it is ALWAYS the fact that a player or players didn't get the job done. I mean if Gabe Classless Dick's players got the job done then he wouldn't be out of a job no matter how crazy his moves were. (not saying Snit is Gabe Classless Dick crazy)

It's time to part ways. I bet there's a 95% chance he's back next year. I don't think it matters. We could have Lou or Torre or Sparky or anyone and we would find a way to muck it up in the end. Our issues go beyond the manager... it's like we have an entire culture of choke around the organization. It's like we spend extra time each off-season practicing our choke. I think we give players a psychological test so we can make sure we accumulate the ones most prone to choking. I truly believe that.

That's why this off-season I don't care who we let walk.. who we sign.. whatever.
It's not going to make a difference come post-season.
