Call me small-minded, but I can't for the life of me understand why we didn't drill Flaherty the inning after he hit Acuna. The game was over. Not like it would have made a difference to us. It's funny. Out of all of the bad stuff that happened yesterday, that's the thing that burned me up the most. Why every brave fan in the stadium, including myself, didn’t walk out after inning one, I’ll never know

I'm just thankful that while I'll be hanging my head tomorrow, it won't be nearly as low as all of the Dodger fans I work with. I don't know why you think the Dodgers fans will have it worse. They played a competitive game. We were a national embarrassment. A laughing stock on the national stage... the butt of jokes for years to come after already being the butt of jokes. Expectations. For dodgers fans it was WS or bust. Nobody expected the Braves to make it to the WS, let alone win it.

If I were a LAD fan I would want Dave Roberts fired, he has had his chances - he is another guy who cannot take his team over the hump
And considering that payroll, those fans SHOULD have championship or bust expectations. This LAD team was like the 1998 Braves in a way - that was the best team we had even better than the WS teams but Bobby Cox put a questionable lineup vs the Padres that year, that still crawls me
The Braves might not have been expected to get to the series but they should have beat this STL team, they cannot beat them in post season.
Go Nats

And, after hearing Shildt’s profanity laced celebratory speech after their drubbing of us, I reallllly want this team to lose...so save some runs to beat the Cards, Washington! They apparently used Acuna’s ‘antics’ as motivation to win today’s game. They are a pretty classless bunch, and that hack politically correct relief pitcher was trying to get in the Braves' head It worked for them, I hope they go through a bad stretch of losing baseball for a long time STL fans are more classless then Mets and Yankees fans they are the worst people in the universe

I didn’t read all of the comments, but I’m pissed nobody stuck up for Ronnie. He’s the only one who hit the whole series.

We get punked and thank the other team and ask them if they'd like to do it again. I mean we are the organization that neutered the entire Fanbase because one snowflake brought up an issue that's been dead for 25 years.

They played the music and we all chopped, it didn’t matter.

I wasn't there so I may be off base, but I just think we spent too much time catering and accommodating a player on the opposing team instead of creating an atmosphere that would help pump the team up and give us a true home field advantage.
It didn't lose the series for us, but I don't think it helped.

What a poop-show it was from the very first pitch to the end; just one gigantic poop-show.

Don't worry, dirt. We will hang on to Snit "our goal is to make the playoffs", and Markakis like grim death.
Everything's gonna be fine

Yeah, the Markakis luv is what chaps my ass. Snit, is slow, but if everyone plays well, or even average we can win games, despite some of his odd ball decisions. It’s definitely gonna be hard to get enthused about watching the Braves again, I’ll say that.

It was an embarrassing loss at a time when our expectations were highest.Sh#t happens. It was shamefully unacceptable to let them plunk Jr without payback. Molina dissed us all series and probably called for the beaning.I fervently hope we didn’t retaliate in this game so we could bank our vengeance for a time when it will count more.Snitker is a good manager whom the players love but maybe lacks the cerebral abilities and fire needed for a championship run
