Wow, Martinez took a crazy gamble walking Muncy and bringing the winning run to the plate, but the Gnats hung on.

"Cardinals starting pitcher Jack Flaherty throws a cup of water in frustration in the dugout after he gave up a two-run homer in the seventh to Atlanta Braves pinch-hitter Adam Duvall during Game 2 of the National League Division Series between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Atlanta Braves at SunTrust Park in Atlanta on Friday, Oct. 4, 2019."

Although the fans booed the removal of Folty, thereby spilling over to the appearance of Duvall at the plate, I don’t think most fans were truly booing Adam, just wanted MF to stay in the game. As Snit said in his post game press conference ...and I think he coined a new phrase ..he said he received a “Booyay” from the crowd. He smiled when he said it. This was in response to being asked how he felt when the fans don’t agree with his moves and how it affects him in the dugout. He said, of course, it doesn’t make him feel good and acknowledged that some moves work some don’t. Was just happy Adam came through (needed a bomb there). This is a general translation of what was said.
