Julio Teheran, RHP, 10-10, 3.55 ERA, 161 K's Teheran's postseason roster candidacy has weakened as he has allowed five homers over his past two starts. He has a 3.03 ERA over his past 25 starts, despite having a National League-high 4.31 walks per nine innings in that span.
vs
Danny Duffy, LHP, 6-6, 4.30 ERA, 110 K's Duffy is coming off his best start of the season on Wednesday in Oakland. He gave up just two hits and no runs with six strikeouts over seven innings in a no-decision.

How about 3 stolen bases for Ronald Acuña tonight? That would be cool.

Anyone else taking great joy in the fact that the Phillies and the overrated and overpaid Bryce Harper are on the verge of elimination? I am.

And how perfect is it that the Nationals are better without him, they're going to the playoffs and he isn't, and they're clinching that spot against the Faillies? lol......
Stupid money, stooooooopid monies!!!

Is he the most overrated player in the history of baseball? Serious question......... Most over hyped definitely I agree, and if you look at what he got paid, I'd say most over rated too. He's consistently been the 20th to 50th best player in baseball in each season, one super year and a couple bad seasons, and somehow he's gets paid like he by far the best player ever. I have to feel it's more than just a hunch that his antics and attitude also are bad for a team. It's one thing to be intense, but completely different to be a total jerkoff. I wouldn't be able to stand to be a teammate of his, and that matters over a course of a season.

Classless Dick has used 6 pitchers so far, after 7 innings, in the first game of double header.
Maybe he plans on pitching Harper in the second game.

Final count, Classless Dick goes through 7 pitchers in the first game of the double header.
Two weeks ago I predicted they would finish under .500 for the season when I saw their schedule, and they're going to make a run for it. After they lose either 4 or 5 of these games to the Gnats they play the Marlins at home, but they can't even beat the Marlins.
On one hand this is so frigging hilarious, on the other hand it makes me fear that they'll fire Classless Dick. Is he gone anyway after this season? Surely he is, right?

I can't imagine they'll keep him. It still ticks me off that we played under .500 against those morons, even though it doesn't mean anything.
