Would like to see Riley play to take his shot at 20 HRS, and Folty, he seems to have learned something since he has been back
He did take responsibility when he got sent down, did not whine and he got better. That is what you want in any pro athlete in any sport at any level
This team has overachieved, got to give them credit for a much better yr than most expected.
Who could have expected winning in the high 90's of games - not me of course

He was a lil bitch about it and it cracked me up to hear Frency talking about how the demotion HELPED Folty. Something Frenchy wouldn't really do himself --- and he NEEDED it bad back then.

I heard that moron talk about his demotion this year and how great it was in the big picture and he made it sound like he didn’t whine about it back then. lol.....

I called the division title in spring training and felt we were a 90+ win team all along. And the funny part was that I predicted our young pitchers would be the main reason, and they didn’t live up to my expectations all the way. I don’t think the team over achieved at all, we’re pretty loaded with talent. And when the pitching comes around we’ll be way more of a force to deal with. Good times now and better times ahead. Thanks for nothing Coppy/Hart/McGuirk/Cox/Shuerholz/AA!!!!!

Oh, he DID whine and the Braves capitulated and shortened his "stay", and I recall he did not improve upon his return at all. In fact, I think his decline was an actual statement then. He didn't care about the TEAM, but himself.

Thanks for nothing Coppy/Hart/McGuirk/Cox/Shuerholz/AA!!!!! Maybe he read to many of the "expert" predictions claiming the Braves would end up in 3rd or 4th place in the NL East with 83-84 wins! I liked our chances of repeating last years record but they have overachieved my expectations and to still have a shot at 100 wins is amazing.

IF Anderson and Wright both pan out, our pitching will be strong and deep. I'd like to see us keep Badhaircut and Keuchel, but that won't happen. Assuming we could only keep one of them, I think I'd choose Keuchel if a gun were held to my head. Solid starters are just so hard to find. Of course, if Riley then bombs, we're left with a gaping hole in the lineup, too.
