Well, today isn't Greene's day, is it? We just don't seem to be meant to win this game. The fly ball between Acuña and Duvall should have been an out.

Greene escapes with the lead. 5-4 Braves. I have to think it's the St. Louis guy's to lose this year.

I mean, he kinda has to with Ender out, but he needs to be in RF. That's his best spot by far. He'll make a spectacular play in CF once in a while, but he's just not good out there. He hurts you more than he helps you.

Now, this is more like it, breaking that losing streak
Magic number one now, we needed them to come through and they did as they have all yr, one more for the good guys
Congrats to Acuna for number 40, and Riley breaks his homer drought too number 18 he has a chance for 20
We need them both for the future, great work guys

Baseball is funny.
This was by far the worst lineup matchup we could have thrown out there and we win. The other days with better situations.. not so much.

Nice to see Soroka get a win, not his best game but makes up for some of those tough luck no decisions he has had
Not that it was his worst game just not his A game, in the end 13-5 just looks better and he got the reward every starting pitcher looks for, the good old fashioned win.
If only Alonso were not the rookie this yr he would be rookie of the yr but Alonso has to be the unanimous choice for top rookie this yr hate the Muts or not
Imagine if Soroka has the kind of yr he gets the real heavy run support. And if Fried can avoid the one bad inning, that ERA will be in the low 3's not 4's. Got the left/right punch of the future. It took a while for Fried now in his fifth yr with the organization - at 25, he should have 6 to 8 good yrs, maybe more

HMF is Snit Manager of the yr again? If not who beats him out? He's in the discussion. St Louis manager Shildt or whatever his name is.. CC from the Brewers if they sneak in, and Martinez of the gNats after their poor start are others who could win it. The St Louis guy especially. the guy with the cards is there with Snit. I think winning last yr will hurt Snit. But when you consider the braves were picked by some to finish 4th in division and 3rd by most Snit has over achieved so I think he deserves it
