I always shake my head at the fascination that bored has with certain players.
Generally speaking, so many can’t see beyond the end of their own noses.
Plus they are profound stat watchers... Jiminy almighty let someone have a recent outlier year.
Moose is a player I like, but in the grand scheme of the overall plan.. why spend that money?

I did'nt want the Braves to spend that money for moose. I think he was just trying to cash in before the FA pool becomes top heavy next year, and now that he signed a one year deal, he might think he has a better chance at cashing in after the dust settles with the Harper and company contracts.

It's going to be interesting to see how he does this year. He'll have a ton of pressure on him, likely playing on a team that won't be that good, he has to be harboring some resentment towards the Royals all things considered, and yet he better produce this season or he's not going to be worth a whole lot.

It was a huge gamble on his part and it probably won't pay off.

Riley very well could be the real deal. Of course you could go to the other bored on the Minor League tread and read what I wrote about Andy Marte in '05 so my opinion on Braves 3rd base prospects don't really have much value.

It’s not an exact science. I liken it to batting.. 1 out of 3 right will land you in the HOF.

I like it when a prospect isn't rated very high but does well, but only if it's on my team.
