This was from the article you linked:
"The investigation appears to have a specific focus on the now-terminated Coppolella. While already banned from MLB for life, it remains unclear whether the erstwhile Braves GM may face further legal troubles as a result of federal scrutiny. Perhaps curiously, Coppolella appears to have retained the services of Jacksonville attorney Hank Coxe, whose business webpage states he “specializes in serious federal and state criminal matters.”
This goes back to January, I did a quick search and found our discussion on January 20th, this was among the posts:
Dan Federico @danjfederico Hearing rumblings that Major League Baseball has found that the Los Angeles Dodgers are in violation of rules involving the international free agency market. There is word they will get penalized similar to what the Atlanta Braves received a year ago 1:19 PM · Jan 19, 2019 · Twitter Web Client
Funny how THAT hasn't happened, as much as it should.

You gotta love it when the FBI gets involved in things like this, while both Congress and the FBI are run by thieves and liars who never face any repercussions for their actions.

And most of the people in this country won't even notice or think anything about it.

The ignorance of the American people is their ace in the hole. When the majority of the people can't write a coherent sentence, the government wins, and that's where we are today.

I'm worried ... If the Dodgers are the focus, does that mean Anthopolus could be found culpable in something?

I'm worried ... If the Dodgers are the focus, does that mean Anthopolus could be found culpable in something? It’s certainly possible. I’m not really sure what AA actually did for the dodgers, outside of being VP of player development. It’s possible he didn’t really deal with scouting and signing players, and had more a hand in developing players once they were signed. Those who worked day to day in the intl FA market are probably the ones most in need of lawyers. I wanted to edit this to note that based on an article from last October, there were emails as far back as 2015 showing what the FBI is currently investigating. AA started working for the Dodgers in 2016. That’s not to say he didn’t do anything illegal in the two years he worked for them, but it does show that a system was already in place before he got there.
