Yelich has gone to a level that nobody expected. He's gone from an .800-.850 ish OPS guy to over 1.000, and has turned into an amazing player. BUT (and you can call me crazy) I STILL wouldn't trade Acuna for him straight up, not given age, contract status, etc. That said, Yelich has turned into an animal.

Christian Yelich with three blasts and 7 rbi's last night. What was it going to cost to get him from the Marlins again? Quite a lot, mostly because, at the time, the marlins wanted a highly ranked prospect bat and the Braves didn’t have one. It was gonna be something like Riley plus two top-50 pitching prospects, for starters. This is due to the fact that hitters have significantly more surplus value than pitchers.

Here is one of those 2014-15 trades that has been missed
Remember the Hector Olivera trade. Think it was Coppy who was more hot on Olivera than Hart was at the time
Unforgettable, don't think under Alex he will do a dum dum like that one
BTW, wonder what it would have taken for JTR, we will never really know, but Alex held to his guns and we have to respect that
Time will tell but it could be a win/win if JTR extends with Philly (not a cheap org) and the prospects work out with Miami, but like all pitching prospects they all come with a gamble as we have all experienced here. Alfaro is not a bad player but no JTR
