We knew his first half was unsustainable but a lot of his failures are his fault. It’s gotten so bad I’d rather have dansby at the plate. It's not even close. Dansby is far ahead of Albies, right now, especially with the bat and brain. I actually think that Albies going to the allstar game messed with him. Right now, he is a dud.

I just want to say that I was really impressed with the TB Rays. There's an organization getting the most out of what they have. They've got a lineup full of baseball player type guys who hit the ball hard, run the bases aggressively and don't make a lot of mistakes. And they're doing it with only one legitimate starting pitcher. If they were playing anywhere but the AL East they would be headed for the playoffs. I completely agree, they would be dangerous if they had a good starting pitching rotation.

True, but I'm still not a fan of the pitcher-by-committee approach. Maybe I'm wrong, but I just don't think that approach is sustainable. I think they're just doing it out of necessity for right now. I don't think it sustainable over time either because it's too much wear on too many arms.
