But he is fully endorsed by OurBravesForum That I am BUT, truthfully, giving a weather update based on radar interpretation and analysis and sometimes not the most up to data models runs for the possible delay of a baseball game carries no risk of human life. Although I enjoy giving weather updates for hurricanes and other severe weather events, in dangerous life threatening scenarios I will always defer to those agencies who are currently using the latest information and analysis techniques to warn those who are in serious life threatening conditions and to NOT take my word for it with my current more limited resources compared to those agencies. -PA Here is a more thorough analysis from an agency that has those tools.

Harper has to be the worst greatest-player-of-all-time ever.

Harper has to be the worst greatest-player-of-all-time ever. Amen. A product of media and league hype. Overall a good hitter, not great by any means, and a hack in the OF.

You never know! That's why I was so happy when the Nats won last night. True...while I like putting distance between the Braves and the Phillies, I don't want the Nats to resurrect any hopes of winning the division

Hey PA here comes hurricane lane should I board up windows today? Very heavy rain, dangerous flooding, and storm surge are probably your biggest concerns. Tropical storm level sustained winds of 35-45 MPH with gusts to 65 MPH are possible and possibly a bit higher, especially if any associated squall lines move through. The storm, for a number of reasons some of which are cooler waters, wind shear and and more stable air, is expected to gradually decrease in intensity as defined by pressure and wind field. Also, most of Hawaii will be in the right quadrant where the most severe weather occurs, although much of the severe weather will be closer to the eye of the storm and not extend to the islands as the path continues northwest and then west. Severe weather, hurricane force winds, and a more severe storm surge would dangerously affect Honolulu and could come into play if the storm takes a more northerly course towards O'ahu and Kauai before turning west. Current indications are that the slow moving Hurricane Lane will veer to the west with only a very small chance of making landfall in those two islands and most likely staying close to 100 miles off shore. There is a possibility that the storm could also slow significantly and stall for a while and do several small loops before continuing on its forecast path. Please keep in contact with local weather and emergency authorities for the latest update! STAY SAFE!!! -PA Disclaimer: As a retired former DOD meteorologist and National Weather Service employee I am no longer authorized to issue official weather watches, warnings and advisories. Last year experience with Maria taught me to NEVER underestimate these events. That was a B#@ch!!

Here is a more thorough analysis from an agency that has those tools.

Tonight's lineup is a perfect example of a time when I shake my head at Snitker. Of Oz, Dansby, and Camargo, Dansby is actually playing the best right now. Why not roll with that and sit Oz or Camargo tonight? I don't get it.

Will we face Urena this series ? No Mattingly announced that no matter what, he would not let Urine face the Braves. Awwwwwwww, why not? Not even if we say pretty please with sugar on top? We promise we won't hurt him---- much.
