Actually, I crunched the numbers not too long ago. For the Braves to get deGrom, they'd have to give up, roughly, Wright/Riley/Wentz/+2 lower rated prospects. Honestly, I could live with that. I wouldn't like it, but I could live with it. Would someone hypothetically replace wright? Like touki? Touki is rated too low, so it effects the total surplus value negatively for the Braves. The only pitcher you could replace Wright with is Soroka. If you wanted to keep Wright, a package would have to be something like Riley/Touki/Gohara/Allard/Wentz/+2 lower rated prospects. Another package would be Riley/Pache/Gohara/Wentz

It would probably only cost Riley, Pache, Anderson, Allard, Soroka and Touki. Actually, I crunched the numbers not too long ago. Only if it's a deadline deal after we get a better idea what we have in those guys.

If you're talking about at the deadline next season, the package would change because deGrom would only have 1.5 years left before becoming a FA, instead of 2 full years. The closer deGrom gets to free agency, the less I want the Braves to trade for him.

I hope we score 47 runs tonight and Culberson goes 13-13 with 7 home runs.
He'd still sit tomorrow.
I really would rather see Camargo 6th, Culberson 7th and Ender 8th. I know Ender has finally hit some balls hard lately, but he's still light years behind Camargo and Culberson. My suggestion would keep us in the alternating lefty/righty thing. Which I think is often times way over rated anyway.

I’d probably be fine giving up the first package because I believe the Braves already have a future rotation, cemented by the acquisition of deGrom. Plus, Riley won’t be missed be cause God King Camargo would play third.

you know that means he's going to go 0 for 4 with a crucial error

If Riley pans out Camargo should play SS, he has great numbers for that position, and obviously has potential to be even better.

I'm on record as saying Arenado is one of only about three players I'd pay a lot of money to for a long time. He's such an all around good player. I'd give up Riley if I knew for sure we could get Arenado.
