So he averages 1 walk every two innings. We just need to only pitch him 1 inning at a time and make sure it's the right one of the two. That's gonna get tricky, I'm afraid.

Walk rate much better than Freeman, Moylan, and Jackson and also better than Biddle. The addition of Venters and Brach should help to somewhat stabilize the bullpen and we gave up very little. Wouldn't mind one more and a starter.

4.85/1.77/.303
Pretty Moylanish.

I read he was suffering in part due to an abnormally high BABIP... something like .371

Not indicative of his career. I'm sure the Braves hope he can pitch like the past 6 years. Beside you can get a reliever that's doing well and then sucks when he gets here. Based on past performance he should pitch better than he has so far this year. Others pitch great the first half and then regress to career level by having a worse 2nd half. He's worth taking a flyer on. Who was that lefty we got several years back who was suppose to be good and didn't perform well for us?

I have no problem with the move, I was having some fun with his numbers because he's been beaten around lately. I know there's a chance Brach will pitch better with us, but it always seems to work the other way, players do better elsewhere than they do with us.

We should be flipping these Intl slots for players like Brach and then selling them off for prospects. FU Manfred

Perhaps we should try that with Moylan and Freeman, perhaps Teheran. remember when we thought Teheran would bring Bregman? If only....
