UP NEXT:
Reds: RHP Matt Harvey (2-5, 5.66 ERA) will make his ninth start for Cincinnati since getting traded from the New York Mets on May 8. He is 2/3 with a 4.79 ERA with the Reds and is 3-7 with a 5.27 ERA in 12 career starts and one relief appearance against Atlanta.
Braves: RHP Anibal Sanchez (3-1, 2.55 ERA) will face the Reds for the first time since 2015. He is 2-1 with a 2.22 ERA in four starts this month.
TRAINER'S ROOM:
Reds: INF Nick Senzel, the No. 2 overall draft pick of 2016, had season-ending surgery to repair a torn tendon in his right index finger. He suffered the injury on Friday with Triple-A Louisville. In 44 games at Triple-A Louisville, Senzel hit .310 with six homers and 25 RBI.
Braves: LF Ronald Acuna Jr., sidelined since May 28 with a left knee sprain and bruises to his knee and lower back, will move down in the batting order when he returns from a rehab assignment later this week. He batted in the No. 2 hole in 25 of his 29 games before getting hurt. Manager Brian Snitker likes how Inciarte and Albies are complementing each other in the top two spots.
MOVING UP:
Markakis, the NL hits leader, singled in the third to reach 100 hits. He leads the league in doubles and multi-hit games and ranks second to Cincinnati's Scooter Gennett in batting average. Markakis went 2 for 4.

Once Acuna comes back, I'm OK with him batting a little lower in the order. It will make the back end of our lineup much better.
CF Inciarte 2B Albies 1B Freeman RF Markakis C Suzuki LF Acuna 3B Camargo SS Swanson
I would move him to 5th on days when Flowers catches and have Flowers bat 6th. I would also use Culberson at 3B or SS on a semi-regular basis.

Sims down, Wisler up And the carousel of mediocre relievers continues ... Maybe we can just go from Sanchez to Moylan then straight to wisler. Save the rest of the pen.

***WEATHER UPDATE*** 26 Jun 2018 5:10 PM EDT
Once again a small upper air disturbance this afternoon and evening along with daytime heating will likely lead to isolated and possibly scattered showers, especially north and east of the Atlanta metro area. Scattered showers, generally .1-.5", along the central and northern AL/GA border are also probable tonight but should stay well to the west until after midnight. The outlook is much more favorable tonight than last night. Global and regional models don't show much in the Atlanta area for the game time period. The 12Z GFS and 18Z NAM3K bear watching but are outliers and hinting at some showers (generally .1-.5") from 8-11PM in the area but I think most showers should stay to the north and east of Atlanta through 10 PM. I'm not buying into amounts indicated by the GFS until I see the 18Z run and maybe not even then but a stray shower or two is certainly possible during game time. A slightly increased chance for showers exists as we move later into the evening and early morning hours. Otherwise expect temperatures in the mid to upper 80's at game time to upper 70's by 11 PM with a light WSW wind blowing out slightly towards left or across form right to left. Currently, HRRR and RAP also show only a marginal risk of any significant showers for the Atlanta vicinity for game time. I'll give a radar update and check in on HRRR before the game. -PA

Moylan, Sims, Wisler, Jackson, Biddle, Socolovich, and Ramirez if he's back in time.

When he went down, he was struggling so I hope he corrected some things during his tenure in rehab.

Sims down, Wisler up And the carousel of mediocre relievers continues ... I would have been a WHOLE lot happier if your headline read: Sims down and OUT of the organisation.

How do you score 0 runs, two games in a row, when you have Mr. Wonderful on your team??? Isn't this something like the 4th year in a row the "lil bitch" was going to have that "breakout" season and win every imaginable trophy including the Cy Young while carrying the gnats to an eleven game sweep of all the playoff games?

I need help. I go to the All Star voting page and find no ballots anywhere. There's just an icon going in circles like something is trying to load but never does.

Only if th first 3 hitters are righties does that make sense, since Moylan is a right hand god.
