Weather could be a factor all week thru Sunday. Thanks PA... Yep..a lot of clouds and upper level disturbances moving through this week. Tomorrow could be a rain-out if everything sets up right.

***Weather Update*** 3:30 PM EDT Cloud cover will inhibit most convective development this afternoon over the metro area although a few scattered showers and an isolated storm is possible but should be short in duration and not severe. Indices reflecting the current dynamics just not showing enough to warrant severe weather. Currently due to some sunshine creating a bit of instability a few light to light moderate showers with a few rumbles of thunder are scatted to the south and east from Macon to Thomaston to LaGrange and farther E and NE through Athens and beyond. These should wind down later this afternoon and early this evening as instability weakens. Tonight's game time frame should just have some intermittent light showers (~ .1" - .2" max) with an isolated rumble of thunder possible especially S/SE of Smyrna. The NAM and HRRR are hinting at some isolated development and heavier precipitation closer to Smyrna just to the S/SE over the Atlanta metro area late in the game time period around 10-11 PM so keep that in mind but generally I think most heavier precipitation and scattered thunderstorms should develop after midnight. GO BRAVES!

Kelsey Wingert @kelswingert Dansby Swanson will take BP today and tomorrow, then #Braves will make a decision if he’s ready for rehab assignment. He will play at least one game, probably with Rome because Gwinnett is on the road. He could be back this home stand.

I'm not too close to SunTrust, but I believe I just heard thunder. IDK if there will be delays today or not.

***Weather Update*** 7:30 PM 15 MAY 2018 Scattered showers and possibly a thunderstorm around parts of central and northern GA at 7 PM. Most are farther south and east and in NW GA. A band has developed between Columbus to Macon to the NE and a larger area in NW GA from Gadsden, AL to Chattanooga,TN. Some of these are most likely instability showers and should dissipate as we move further into the evening but a few could persist. Models are still in basic agreement with just light showers in the game time frame. HRRR still persistent with bringing some heavier showers in from the NE between 10 and 11 PM in the Smyrna area. I'm still thinking we get either no or just light precipitation (.1-.2" max) for the majority of the game but an isolated heavier cell or even a rumble of thunder and a delay is not out of the question, especially as the evening wears on. Still thinking most heavier precipitation should arrive after midnight. GO BRAVES!
