Whole new atmosphere with the management style of this FO. Better morale, and the one impact Alex has had is the development of the analytics department that is really helping players -- and the players, coaches and managers are buying into it
Some under the radar moves (Tucker, Flaherty for example have made a contribution) -- and the Kemp deal looks more than just a salary manipulation with Mc Carthy helping when healthy (I know he is doing good in LA, but for the reasons it was done it made sense)
And the kids (Ozzie, Carmago and so far Acuna) who were brought under Wren, not Hart/Coppy looking good. Guess the system was not as depleted as we were led to believe
And Dansby has improved his second time around (wonder if the information has had an impact)
At least you won't have John Hart stomp into the clubhouse and embarrass the manager whom the players respect -- or, the thin skinned cry baby Coppy who was in way over his head on the job, PR wise was awful and truthfully, most of his moves were questionable
There was often a sense of lull and negativity under the horrific old regime -- and they acted like they were always right and that they had built perennial winners in the past -- So good they are gone
I don't know if this will continue, but even in a slump the Braves are in such better hands than we were under those two unlikable losers -- I will always hate those guys for those 3 miserable lousy yrs and they were so arrogant and smug about it -- the way they did things is why I hated their work here
And Alex has not even had the time to make major impact moves yet -- he is in the analytical phase but where I give AA credit is in the information and management style that I think is having an impact on the improved play
We are in good shape now that the two incompetents are gone

We've been through this 100 times--they built the team and the farm system and you are getting to enjoy now and for the next ten years.
They did mess up.
They're gone.
LET IT GO.

Too much fun not to troll them and their mess-ups -- but the whole style of new management as I see has been as asset particularly the expansion of the analytics department I am having fun kicking them when they are down and out after what they did to us The old regime were still in place I do not think we would see as positive results on the field or in the clubhouse -- its as if guys enjoy coming to work now & I mean the older vets like Freddie and Nick to me are enjoying it more

Stupid post. This team would have the same record with Coppy at the helm... it is what it is thanks to coppy. Who cares if we lost an overrated prospect haul because of him, coppy>frank wren by miles

Or that he wouldn't have added some other pieces one way or the other that would have made us even better. The bottom line is they're gone, it's over. I don't get the obsession by the OP.

Who cares if we lost an overrated prospect haul because of him, coppy>frank wren by miles Note that the prospects who are doing something (Ozzie, Albies and Johan) were actually Wren guys I don't think the team would have had the same record under Hart/Coppy because I think the players are buying into what this FO is selling more than the 2 Johns -- just an opinion and its fair to think the expansion of the analytics department has something to do with it There is a breath of fresh air PR wise with this team and its relationship with the media than it has been in the recent past To me that is a positive development

All things considered, I’m happy that Coppy is gone as I feel AA is a better GM. I’m looking towards the future, not the past. Coppy is the past, I say leave him there and look forward. The futures bright. No sense in throwing clouds out there.

Sure, Alex has been a positive... but your title and lead in are directed more at Coppy and Hart.
You totally ignore the fact that many of the players on this team that are contributing to our success this season are here because of Coppy and Hart.
You went out if your way to say that our success this season can be directly attributed to Hart and Coppy being gone, and that's a weak argument.

Bump -- there is sure a different spirit around here -- and its been a while since my thoughts were originally posted
And have to give credit to Snitker who has done a better job than given credit for. He is embracing the information the new leadership is bringing and for an old school career baseball man, he is open minded to getting things done
Got to like his positive demeanor -- and there has been a positive demeanor beginning with the new FO
OK -- maybe the prior regime collected a few prospects but as for leadership, putting things together and dealing with people we are so much better off
I do not think this turn around would have been done with those two around -- and yes, I do believe this season has something to do with those two gone
Snitker has grown into quite a manager -- the results speak for itself.
