Minor leaguer Fried shaking off Suzuki? Pisses me off. It was a lovely pitch, he couldn't have put it any more on a tee than he did.

Minor leaguer Fried shaking off Suzuki? Pisses me off. Shook him off 2 times to get to that pitch. These kids with the big breaking ball have to learn that its a lot mkre effective in the minors than up here. Newcomb went through the same thing a bit. When he first came up he was in love with that big hook and used it too much.... up here though, guys don't miss it when it breaks in belt high over the middle of the plate.

Fried shouldn't have shaken him off ... but AGAIN, the bigger issue is what did he do with the first batter? He walked him. It's a stinkin' epidemic and if the Braves can't get it under control, will derail any chance of a winning season.

To make matters worse the curve couldn’t have been any more of a hanger.

it curved a lot...
immediately out of his hand so it was easy to judge the amount of break
... and right out over the middle of the plate at about belt high like it had been set on a tee for him.
