Mets up now and as much as I hate them, I love the style of play they are demonstrating and the approaches they are taking at the plate.
They sure can stack things and put together multi-run innings.

On Aug. 11, the Detroit Tigers were 55-63 and 10 games out of a playoff spot, with a 0.2% chance to make the postseason.
They are 33-13 since and just swept the Astros to make the ALDS.

Better question now is do you root for the Mets or Phillies. I hate the Phillies more since I live here and am bombarded with their nonsense constantly so I guess I'm a Mets fan for a couple of days..

Even though I don't like the Mets I detest the Phillies so I'll have to go for the Mets. Plus, my grandson's favorite team is the Mets so I'll root for them for him. |
