I would support shortening the season and giving teams at least two days off before the WC. I know the home team gets an advantage but this seems a little unfair as far as competition goes. You get here and are now forced to use a AAA pitcher in the 1st game because of a mandatory DH the day before. I know Sale could have gone today but if Sale pitched yesterday we would be in the same boat unless Holmes could go. Even the NFL and NBA give all teams plenty of time to prepare for the post season regardless of seed. If Sale went we would have been using Holmes. What got screwed up was the fact that MLB ignore an incoming hurricane and Sale got hurt.

Every time there’s a threat, batter starts in 0-2 hole and eventually waves at strike 3 outside the zone

Maybe next season management will be smart enough to not go into the season with three starting pitchers, two question marks and no backup options other than “organizational depth” which means six guys who are not big league level pitchers.

Three out of four innings now we get runners to 2nd or 3rd but nobody comes through. It's frustrating to watch and it's been like that most of the year. We better hope Fried pitches another gem tomorrow because I agree with Fumb, we're not scoring many unless someone runs into one with guys on base.

Laureano could have a career in movies playing an old time gangster. Like a Scarface type character.

The Braves offensive woes are because they just don't swing hard enough.

I know one thing. If I'm the manager, Tatis is getting one in the earhole the next time he comes up. You sir.... are no Brian Snitker Yeah, you probably don't even pick your nose on national tv.

Don’t worry, kids, this is all part of the plan. Give the Pads a false sense of superiority, let them over power us convincingly, let them underestimate the lowly Braves offense, then BOOM!! The last two games ?? we KILL it!!
Ok, back to your regularly scheduled Braves ballgame.
