I’m going to predict we don’t score more than one run in any game in this series. We might get skunked for the entire thing. The Padres are 43-20 since the All Star break. They have great pitching. Our weak offense has to be tired both mentally and physically after the last few days and they having to fly to San Diego.
It might be wise to just……look away.

Braves finalize Wild Card Series roster; Sale left off
Starters AJ Smith-Shawver and Bryce Elder both made the cut, but it wasn't clear as of Tuesday afternoon which of them would get the Game 1 start that night in San Diego.
Luke Jackson and Charlie Morton make WC roster. Holmes, SBach and Duvall left off.

Just wow. What a mess! The Chris Sale situations turns into a total disaster on top of everything else. I hope we don't see Elder. All those walks and balls in the dirt and runners advancing would kill us tonight. On the other hand, AJSS gives up tons of HR's. I'm surprised they didn't give Ian Anderson a shot. It's a quandary.

Wink and a prayer night I hate to crush your dreams, but what you said hasn’t seemed to be an issue for anybody else so far during his major and minor league careers. I think the fact that “AJ” is kind of a cool name is about the best thing he has going for him. I came in like a wreeeeeeeeecking ball! |

I know you already know this, but no troll is ever going to engage in rationality. That clown has been terribly exposed in the last few days. I won’t even gloat about the concerns over Sale’s health because I wanted so badly to not be right about that. I’m sick over it. It takes us from maybe having an advantage to having about a .000001 chance of winning this series. |

No one wanted Sale to get hurt just to be proven right. My comments are just about the hypocrisy and trollish nature
of someone. I hope he can be ready if we can escape the WC round, and he is by far our best option. It's a shame he literally
broke right at the end of the season.
