Houston announcers just said Olson has the longest active games played in a row in MLB at 474 games. Makes sense...

Asstros announcers with one of the longest butthurt crying sessions over a home run call in recent history, still bitching about that through the 6th inning.
They made a mistake that is one of my pet peeves--they said if that had been ruled a double the game would still be scoreless because the next batter, Kelenic, struck out to end the inning. But reality is any change you make in an event affects everything else that happens or happened after that. In it's simplest form, if they ruled Arcia's ball a double, maybe the Asstros just walk Kelenic, or bare minimum pitch him completely differently.....maybe he walks and then the next guy hits a HR and we're up 3-0. But I've heard sports announcers making this same stupid mistake my entire life.

I watch a fair amount of other team's baseball games and I'm pretty sure announcers bitch about the Barves more than any other team. The chop, Acuña and Ozuna slide steps after HR's.. it's always something.

Ya... that's true. Change one pitch or one anything and there's a cascade of differences that follow.

Ya... that's true. Change one pitch or one anything and there's a cascade of differences that follow. And yet even the very best announcers have made that error throughout time, not recognizing that.
