We hit Scherzer and Verlander but can't do anything with Josiah Gray. He's always given us trouble.

I totally forgot what it was like for a Braves starting pitcher to get through 5 innings in less than 100 pitches.

Eddie is a conundrum......he has a ton of swing and misses and then he also has a lot of ABs where he shows amazing bat control. Huh. He is a wild aggressive swinger. Swings at balls a foot outside the zone in all quadrants! Then hits balls 6-8" outside the zone for base hits.

Way too many Ks to be a 2 spot hitter

We hit Scherzer and Verlander but can't do anything with Josiah Gray. He's always given us trouble. Everything moves, so it's hard to square the ball up against him. A power hitting team will struggle with that more than most.

Aside from the other obvious reasons Olson shouldn't bat 2nd, it really pisses me off that it keeps Acuna from running because they want to play for the 2 run HR. It's such an obvious formula that you do not bat a low contact high strikeout slow of foot big HR hitter second. It's pure ignorance. I have no problem at all with what Olson is giving us, but he should be batting somewhere between 4th to 6th.
