Marlins lose in the bottom of the 9th.
Mutts have crapped and fallen back in it exactly as I predicted a week or so ago, 7 losses in a row now.
Faillies win 6 in a row and are still exactly 8 game back, lol.
Cubs are 10 games under .500 in the weakest division in baseball and 7 games back in the Wild Card race, hope Mr. Dansby is having fun playing for the Scrubs, fulfilling a lifelong dream, lol.......

Kenley Jansen after a hot start has a .4 WAR and FIP and WHIP numbers much worse than he had here.
Iglesias has .5 WAR and missed over a month.
Swanson has 6HR and about 25 RBI's with a .263 average while Arcia is 5 and 17 at .326 in 20 less games... and it's an OPS difference of 65 points or so in Arcia's favor.

Dansby is never going to have a chance to play for a championship while with the Scrubs, and he'll get to watch us be legit contenders probably every season during his years with the Cubs.
Guess the extra money was worth it, and playing in Chicago to supposedly honor his grandpa and fulfill his wish to play there. Hope he enjoys it all, lol......

It felt a lot worse than that. I was gonna post it earlier but forgot about it. G1 home plate ump was awful.

Those ump scorecards used to be accurate when they first started that, now I don't even look at them anymore they're so bad. We had a game a month ago where there 30-40 missed calls by the ump, equally bad for both teams. I go two days later to look it up and they claimed there was like 5 or 6 blown calls. Pitches that were 6" outside or inside weren't even listed, everybody was losing their minds talking about it where I saw it posted.

As dated as these score cards are, Clint Wilcox frequently grades out real good. I hope we have the fortune of getting him behind the dish for some of our games.
