Teheran had thrown 19 consecutive scoreless innings against the Nationals before allowing five earned runs over just 2 1/3 innings against them on Tuesday. Bryce Harper is 5-for-8 with three homers against the right-hander since the start of 2017.
vs
This will be Scherzer’s second straight start against Atlanta and he will be looking to make an adjustment after his last outing. He gave up five runs (two earned) with seven strikeouts, as they ran up his pitch count to 110 in five innings.

I hate the gNats. But I hate facing Max in his next start after we just beat him more. We need good JT today.

I'm a Murphy's Law kind of guy. The Nats have not won a home game and have lost five in a row. I'll be rooting my heart out, but I think the Nats take this one. We have Folty next and then face Cole in the 3rd game, so even if we drop this game, I think we can take the series.
The main thing I want to see tonight is a Folty/Newk type performance out of Julio. If he pitches well and we still lose, I can live with that.
But that said, I would love to see us continue our winning ways tonight.

Vegas had the money-line at -250 in favor of the gNats..
For those who might not know, that means you have to bet $250 just to win $100 if you are taking the gNats straight up. I think the first time Sherzer pitched against us it was only -140.

Well there’s really no way to account for that.

Well there’s really no way to account for that. It doesn't really show up in WAR.

MLB sux...I live more than three hours from DC, but I'm considered "in their market" so I can't get any of the Nats broadcasts on MLB TV. I have to listen to the radio broadcast. Reminds of me of when I was growing up listening to the Senators on the radio.
