I like Ozuna batting 3rd. Then move Riley and Olson down one? For sure

Then move Riley and Olson down one? For sure I can live with that.

I did not remember this happening. No wonder Pendleton wasn't welcome to hang around with Snitker in charge, he had the balls to stand up for what should be done when your players get beaned.
Can you imagine how sick it must have made Pendleton when Snitker got the nod over him as our managering goof?

I didn't remember that either. Terry was definitely a hard nosed player.

I didn't remember that either. Terry was definitely a hard nosed player. Yeah I liked him a lot, but he was not one of those Atlanta Braves baseball coach guys after one season of telling Snitker “hey we need to let teams know they can’t throw at our players!”

I liked Pendleton even when he played for St. Louis and was thrilled when he came to the Braves and loved that he coached after he quit playing.

I read that somewhere else and it seemed to me to be pure speculation about who the Braves might be interested in if they chose to do something, but I have no idea what we have to give up. Meanwhile Elder back down and they also sent Kerr down as well, presumably to try and stretch him out as a starter.

So who is likely the frontrunner right now for AL player of the month for May?
Keven Pillar.
Playing every day, against both LHP and RHP:
.426/.460/.766/1.226
4 HR, 17 RBI, 4 SB
For this season against LHP: .375/.444/.656.1.101
against RHP: .300/.364/.600/.964
Ironically, Eddie Rosario was at a similar pace for May, with 5 HR, 14 RBI and 5 SB, until he went hitless the last two games.
Imagine those two being named player of the month for May in the two leagues, that would be just downright hilarious.

Pitching line tonight for Bryce Elder 4.1 Innings 4 hits 6 runs 7 BB 5 strikeouts 2 homeruns Like the other AAA pitchers, he'll keep getting his turns with the big club "until one of them steps up and takes the job" according to Snitker.
Because if something isn't working and goes completely against all logic, you just keep doing it.

And in other news, AJSS to miss 6 to 8 weeks with a grade 2 OBLIQUE strain. Yes you heard right. I kid you not. Another oblique injury. People you can't make this shyt up.
However, on the bright side, Braves brass somewhat relieved to learn that our esteemed manager Brian Snitker only suffered a mild oblique strain while picking a booger from his nose. Ice and warm compresses should help team trainer said. Unfortunately, he's not expected to miss any time.

Acuña to the IL
May miss up to a month. Probably at least 2 full weeks as the Braves will be extra cautious and based on recent history the 10-15 day IL has meant longer than that.
Maybe monkeying around on the bases with fake starts and all that really isn't all that bright. First and foremost he should have been concentrating on being a hitter and not be clowning between 2nd and 3rd.

Acuña out for the year with a torn ACL.
Glad he was out there dancing between 2nd and 3rd.
Yeah.. I blame it on him. He plays reckless on the bases.
