BRAVES FANS,
I have put together a complete player photo history CD of the Atlanta Braves from 1966 through 2020.….every player……over 2880 photos. Player photos are grouped together on the CD in the order of each player’s first year on the Braves roster.
Every photo has a description under it as follows: "1995 John Doe SS 95-99" meaning he was a shortstop for the Braves from 1995 through 1999.
The only photos of players pictured in another team’s uniform are listed below.
If you have a photo of any of the players listed below in a Braves uniform or, if obtaining a copy of the photo CD interests you, please contact me at conklinwj@aol.com.
Again, I’m only looking for digital photos (e.g., JPEGs) that can be emailed. Willing to trade and help you with your photo collection.
Bill
1988 Kevin Blankenship
1989 Ed Romero
2001 Joe Nelson

Very cool what you are doing. I have nothing of assistance, but seeing those names made me realize just how many players are cycled through a baseball team. I've followed the Braves all my life, and I can scarcely recall those guys at all, and there are surely many more just like that. It also shows you just how difficult it is to become a career major leaguer.

He apparently had an issue with sleeping.............A LOT. 'On September 20, 1989, the Cubs pitching coach Dick Pole awakened Blankenship in his hotel room at 11 a.m., 30 minutes after he was to be in uniform.[3] He showed up at 11:45 a.m. And then, on September 24, 1989, Blankenship arrived 15 minutes late for an 8:30 a.m. physical. At that point, Zimmer sent Blankenship home to Fullerton, California. "I overlooked (the first infraction)", Zimmer told The Chicago Tribune, "I'm thinking to myself, 'How the hell could somebody oversleep a day game and show up at a quarter to 12?'" After the second instance of tardiness, however, Zimmer's patience ran out. "I called him into my office and said, 'Go on home.' I gave him the benefit of the doubt (previously). I could have fined him $300–$400. I can't stand being late. I sent him home. That's it. I didn't ask for any explanation."[4]' I mean, how the hell do you work your arse off for years to achieve something, and then piss off the people in charge because you can't get out the da mn bed? People amaze me.........
