FreddieFreeman5 has reached multiple times in all seven games this season, tied for the longest such season-opening streak in Atlanta franchise history. Jerry Royster also had a seven-game run to start 1978.

Post game notes:
This was the first time Ozzie has ever seen snow.
Snitker said that doing things to help a team win games is a good trait to have.
Snit also said that Dansby is “a focus guy”.

I was watching the Masters and switched over about 4 PM and saw the game was being delayed and then just before leaving for dinner a little before 5 PM I saw there would be a 5:10 PM start. Now I'm thinking I'll miss most of the game but at least the Masters will be on where we are going for dinner (CaddyShack Bar/Restaurant). We get there at 5:10 PM and get seated and I have a direct view of two big screen TV's. One has the Master's on and the other has MLB Network with...you guessed it...the Braves and Rockies! I'm in 7th heaven here now and just as we're seated Albies parks one. Needless to say there wasn't much conversation at dinner tonight. GO BRAVES!

I'm glad McCarthy was a pitcher kind of guy again today.
