I read that. Pleasantly surprised that PC ESPN let one get past the editor without saying something about the "racist fans" in Atlanta. We need to stay the course, folks. The PC police have just about worn out their welcome. This is a fantastic baseball franchise that I love. I love the name. I love the uniforms. I love our guys. Yeah, the word love sums it up for me, too.

wow that was a surprisingly excellent article indeed. No barbs thrown, just properly describing tbe turn around and giving the Champs their due respect. First ESPN article ive enjoyed in a while. |

Great read and the one thing I take from this is how much does Ron Washington mean to the overall spirit and heart of this team? The word LOVE, got to the heart of these guys I think.
We know he has been a spark plug for this team but just how much does he mean to this bunch.
Obviously the results speak for itself. And for what Snitker might lack in the X's and O's, one thing for certain these guys play their hearts out for him and that counts for something. Cannot argue with the results over the last 4 yrs and this yr well, it was OUR TURN.
I wish Wash well taking over the A's if those rumors are true. Glad he gets another opportunity what is age with that track record and never forget he was a WS manager two yrs in a row for a Texas franchise that has not been the winningest for the most part
