I still think it would be worth thinking about Fried going in game 5 and Anderson coming back in game 6 but it would be a risk Might as well stay with the 2 pen game plan and have them both rested if this has to go back to Houston So you consider Anderson coming back in game 6 after saying you would have to see how he feels regarding bringing him back in a game 7.. What I meant was see how he feels in terms of bringing him back in game 6 not game 7. Yes, I did not write CLEARLY in that post - bottom line they will go to the two pen games and have them both rested in case the series has to go back to Houston And as to how a pitcher is - given the luck we have had with health with our pitching our pitchers health is knock on wood. We have lost Ynoa and Charlie, cannot lose any more Just win the next two and all get healthy for next yr. Best we can ask for. Either way I cannot second guess the decision made

Both would be going on 3 days rest. As good as our pen has been I can almost see trying to ride them out, but at the same time those guys can only have so much in the tank. We could end up burning out all 4 of our big backend bullpen guys. It does help that none of them had to throw a lot of pitches tonight. But I have a feeling Snitker won't hesitate to try to throw every one of them out there both tomorrow night and Sunday night and take his chances that Fried or Anderson can come through in Houston if needed. One advantage to considering using those guys on short rest is they are both young and it should be a lot easier for them. It's a tough call either way. Maybe it depends a lot on how tomorrow night goes. We sure are asking alot out of the pen guys but its just two more games - I will trust those on the inside to make that tough call. Its worked to this point. I also would worry about Anderson on short rest given he had an injury earlier in the yr we sure to not need him going down and developing an injury. He might be young but we need him now and beyond. As we all know tough call
