This makes it 6 ATL pennants now, we have what 21 division titles? More than anyone else.
Some very good teams we have had over the past 30 yrs.
I guess this team gives me something similar to 1991 but back then we really did not experience any kind of consistent winning before hand so that might be number one to me but this team is close to giving me a surprise.
What has happened since the trade deadline has been something else

Got a point there and there were some who did not like giving up what was given up in some of those trades. Of course almost no one thought we would see this kind of a post season run. AA has been an MVP since he got here in my book have liked him from day one All we have done since he has been around here is win - this one is special winning - An NL pennant. Could we have imagined that 5 or 6 yrs ago

I get the feeling Freddie is going to re-sign. He loves this organization. Amazing moment. So glad for Snitker and the whole team. I think the Braves will be pretty loose against the Astros after getting the monkey off their back. Since 99 we have lost so many LCS and NLCS games; so many of those the other team celebrated at Turner and Truist park.

For better or worse on the Freeman business at least he gets a chance to play in a WS as a Brave.
That is a good thing - the most unfortunate thing is that Acuna has to sit this WS out - I am confident he will work his way back and hope he gets a chance some day.
WS appearances are few and far between most of the time. Some teams have gone nearly 30 yrs and more
Poor Orioles and Pirates fans

I am really happy Free gets to go to a WS with this team after not saying a word going through the rebuild.
I admit I wasn't really sure we should have gone for it before the trade deadline. I was content to take it on the chin this year with an injured Acuña and look forward to next year.
...and just FTR.. Cluck the Dodgers

Since 99 we have lost so many LCS and NLCS games; so many of those the other team celebrated at Turner and Truist park. We lost mostly NLDS series since 99, for the longest time could not win a playoff series. Had the indignity of losing a playoff series to the Cubs in 2003, only team since 1908 at the time to lose a playoff series to the Cubs That monkey got off our back last yr winning the first round but we had that disappointing loss to the LAD after having that 3-1 lead. This time it got done. Home field helped. I have been getting jaded seeing the other guy celebrate on our field when at times we had the better team But this one well, its enjoyable taking this at home vs what is supposed to be the juggernaut team and they are dam good but this time it was meant to be for us for a change As for Freddie hey - I have long given up predicting the business of the game but will always wish him well

If he wants to break the bank, we won't. You simple cannot pay one player $35/$40 million in baseball, at least not for multiple years. One player simply cannot have enough impact to be worth that. It takes too many guys to win. You can pay a basketball player that, and if he's Tom Brady, you can pay a quarterback that, but not a baseball player. My 2 cents, and for the record, I don't think Freddie wants to break the bank.
