It's gonna be EXTREMELY disappointing if we wind up losing this series, I'm not gonna lie. At the same time, I'm very happy with what the Braves have been able to do this year given all that's happened and where they stood less than 3 months ago. I will not call them chokers or anything, though......I just won't. All I can really say is..........COME ON BRAVES, LET'S DO THIS!!

If the Braves win, it will piss off a lot of people !!!

It’s going to be sweet wrapping this up against dead arm Scherzer on our home field.

Again... for me, where they were 3 months ago would not excuse another choke job. If we were the same team we were 3 months ago and had somehow made it in, I might feel different. That's not the case however as we completely revamped half the lineup. I'm not going to say it's okay if we blow another 3-1 lead against a beat up Dodger team because a where a vastly different team was half a season ago. That's the same mentality that keeps us sticking with Snitker. Everyone can of course do as they please with their opinion but for me it's time to hold these guys accountable for where they are now, and not to a bar that was set with a completely different lineup half a season ago. Hopefully this all becomes a moot point when we dust these frackers on Saturday... which is the result we should all demand, and not look at as a fortuitous bonus on the season. Just my opinion..

It’s going to be sweet wrapping this up against dead arm Scherzer on our home field. Plus, their best relievers are spent and our top two or three (up for discussion) will have had two full days of rest. I’m envisioning a big pile of Braves midway between the mound and home plate, laughing and crying, all on top of our favorite punching bag, Linus from Peanuts ,,,,,, uh,, I mean Will Smith 🙏

Oh, agreed ...but this will be their second must win game in a row with Roberts pulling out all the stops. Maybe they won’t need their top relievers, but, if it comes down to that, we have a very slight advantage (tired wise) … mostly boils down to a strong, confident start from Ian (and a sub par outing from Scherzer requiring the use of their BP) but we are at home and nobody wants the Dodgers to win. 😉 lol Gonna stay optimistic

Yea, I feel the same way but man it would be nice to throw it up to those who call us in the ATL chokers, laugh at us etc, and tell that group to shut up we got it for once. As I said if its LAD vs the Astrochaeats I will just pay attention to football and hockey. Just wait for the Hot Stove League and ST We really have had 4 good yrs in a row - such a relief from those bad days of the mid 2010s.

For him its win or continue to live with that moniker on their backs. At least he acknowledges it.

What ever happens with Freddie in the off season, the one thing as fans we really want to see is he getting a chance to play in the WS. He deserves it of course so did other greats of the past with ours and other teams. I don't think Knucksie ever got a WS chance either. Same with Murph. Sucked he was traded the yr before the Braves got good though his skills were declining at the time

It seems to me that the Dodgers are simply better, as much as it pains me to write that. We don't have a Scherzer, for one. Smith is twice the player d'Arnaud is. Dansby is good, but Seager is much better. Betts over Joc. On and on. We hold the edge with Freeman and that's about it. Losing to a more talented team isn't choking. We refuse to spend the money to get over the hump. The Dodgers stop at nothing. This is when that really matters.

David Price Replaces Joe Kelly On Dodgers’ NLCS Roster www.mlbtraderumors.com/2021/10/david-price-replaces-joe-kelly-on-dodgers-nlcs-roster.htmlIn one more piece of ominous Dodgers news, Roberts also reported that left-handed reliever Justin Bruihl is dealing with arm soreness. On the year the rookie pitched to a 2.89 ERA/ 3.97 FIP with a strong 50% roundball rate across 18 2/3 innings. While the lefty sported only a 15.1% strikeout rate in his inaugural season he displayed much stronger bat-missing abilities in the minors throughout his career, frequently checking in with strikeout rates north of 30%. A call hasn’t been made on whether or not to replace Bruihl on the roster just yet, though this continues an unwelcome trend of playoff injuries for the team after replacing Justin Turner on the roster yesterday.
