Snit Up 4 runs he uses O'Day and Greene Up 6 runs he uses Minter Down by 1 run he brings in Jackson After a great comeback to tie.. Tied he brings in last lefty in pen Dayton and then HR Smith. Down by only 1 he brings in a rookie making his debut. Leaves Matzek, Martin, and Melancon unused... Uses Greene, O'day, and Minter in game while up handily. That was abysmal backwards bullpen usage. I'm not sure even Freddie Gonzalez could have managed that any worse.

I hope he apologized to the team after game 2. I'm serious about that. He sure owed them one.

Tommy milone. Gets an 11-2 game via 11 run inning, gives up 8 runs in 2.2 IP and still can't win.

Entire offense. Unless they homer, they simply don't score. They SUCK with RISP. precisely with all the less than 2 out opportunities.

Not that it matters with the division locked up, but defense is the goat tonight. Bad, all 3 runs unearned thanks to poor fielding and throwing.

The Braves were just not into it last night. I'm not saying they didn't try or they didn't care, but they wrapped up the division Wednesday night. When you put the lousy weather and a motivated opponent with that, it's just not a game you can get fired up to play. I think it was more of a "get it over with" mentality.

If you had to pick one, Hech kicked that game around quite a bit.

It didn't really hurt them.

Well then I'm putting that loss on Snitker for not having the guys into since he gets all that credit for getting the guys to play hard for him when they do.
