They never should have fired Pete Mackanin. Certainly not to bring in Chip Classless Dick.

I second the snitker. One plus on Snitker's behalf. He didn't bring Brothers in.

I'm actually gonna go with Bourjos here. It was a horrendous slide.

I'm actually gonna go with Bourjos here. It was a horrendous slide. That’s fair, but Bourjos should have still been on the bench and Preston should have been running. I don’t know who is faster, but you can’t assume a Dansby double and a 1st to home play with a guy coming off a calf strain injury.... especially with the other repercussions of that move later in the game. In many ways it is ALWAYS players failing to execute that loses a game, but last nights lineup moves by Snit with a really short bench were about as mind numbingly bad as they can get. It was however a terrible slide if you want to pin the fail tail on the player donkey.

I can certainly see all that, but in and of itself, Snit replacing Tucker isn’t a bad move, as he was the winning run and he wanted a faster runner; it makes sense. It was the following moves I take issue with. Here’s how I see it, Bourjos lost the game, Snit made sure it stayed a loss. Without Bourjos’ terrible slide, all subsequent moves by Snit don’t happen.

All those have credence. I'll add Albies 0-5 and Suzsuki (2 errors) for consideration.
