Unfortunately we don't know how to access any of these resources.
You do have a profile thingy... click on it and see what happens. You can load an avatar and things like that.
You can quote posts..insert pictures and such. We even have emoji things if you are one of "those people".
I make the rules here so there really aren't many, because I'm lazy. Obey the one golden rule; Don't be a total dick.
Don't worry about doing something wrong.. you'll know very quickly if you do.

The situation is this. I decided to create this forum because mlb.com forums suck so hard, and they've been overrun with trolls. The hope was to get as many people from there to come over here to a place that looks better, allows more content, and can be controlled. Controlled not in the sense of limiting conflicting opinions, but controlled just to eliminate trolls and complete nonsense.
So as the story goes, as soon as I get this place created and ready for visitors; I go over to the mlb boards to start spreading the word, and wouldn't you know it.. the place appears locked up tighter than Dick's hat-band.
Go flippin' figure.
So anyway... now I am like Matt Damon or whoever it was in that movie about Mars where the dude is abandoned on the red planet. I am growing potatoes in my hydroponic garden until I can come up with a way home, or until people find this remote outpost at random and request to join.
More updates when available, but there is little sense in posting content until I at least see page views.

Just so everyone knows.. the only way the site will grow is by word of mouth. It isn't going to pop up on top of a google search, or anything like that.
Plus it's not my goal to only let in like-minded folk. We must have differing opinions to have conversation, but what we wont have here is spamming of
blank posts and other troll BS. People can start threads as they see fit, but do it in the right place and try not to have 18 different politics threads. I am
a bit OCD, so I need to have some sense of order around the place.
Right now though, I am concentrating on getting people to join,

Welcome Fumbduckery and HokieDan.
Please remember a few things... we are in the building phase/membership drive, so I don't expect you will immediately see a bunch of threads.
However.. do feel free to go ahead and create a tread and/or start posting here.
We don't have many rules other than don't be a total dick. I am open to allowing most anyone in, but I do not want to recreate the same BS we have over
at the MLB site, so there are a handful of folk who I don't think I will let in. Other than that...differing opinions are welcome.
Plus if anyone here decides to be a dick and we end up with most everyone not enjoying the experience known as <insert member name here>, then I
will probably have to move on without you.
Other than that, enjoy.

Also please note:
I tried to incorporate some different things into the bored to make it more attractive, but it is my intent to keep those things away from the Braves section.
Those that are interested in those things can use those area of the board as they see fit. Those who are not interested in those things can just avoid those sections.
If however, anyone has suggestions to improve the place - be it by addition or subtraction, please let me know and we will throw it out there to everyone.
