Hopefully Scherzer won't ugly us to death tomorrow night.

I always feel better about our chances against Scherzer than deGrom, we've hit Scherzer pretty decent over the years.
Our fate is in our own hands now, we can't blame the Marlins or anybody else at this point no matter what happens.
GIT. R. DONE.

With the new tiebreaker it's hard to calculate a magic number. It almost becomes irrelevant until a head to head series is decided. By definition, I think ours is 6 and the Mets is 5 right now but it would become 1 instead of 2 if we win the next 2 games because we would then hold the tiebreaker.

So.... Are you starting Rosario in LF again tonight? He misplayed two fly balls in the 2nd inning where both should have been caught. That was the direct cause of the Mets 1st run.

Got no choice...who you gonna put...wife beater? He can't catch OR throw. Rather have Eddie over Grossman with righty Scherzer. Just a better hitter. Better bad ball hitter as well. Hopefully he doesn't embarrass himself in left tonight.

I would bet a lot of money it has to do with his eye surgery and the lights. The ultimate answer is a lot of practice finding some different way to track balls that are in the lights because the lights aren’t going away. The problem might be a guy could have a hard time doing that within a few weeks. We do need his bat in the lineup even against LHP, but I’d bet he doesn’t play against lefties. Ozuna will because his OPS is .893 in September and squeaky clean Captain Fizzlenuts is suddenly willing to sell his soul and play the wife beater.

Scherzer 11-4 era 2.13 War 5.3 Wright 20-5. era 3.18 War 3.7
Wadd'ya think guys? Can the Braves young gun beat the 38 year old grizzled veteran? Vegas doesn't think so. But to be the guy, you have to beat the guy. This is a right of passage game (excuse the pun) for Wright. He has to show up... believe in his stuff, and execute... Show the baseball world what a 20 game winner looks like and can do.

I might have been a little concerned about Wright if not for his World Series game last year and he pitched some high pressure games this year. I now expect him to be able to handle it.

We haven't had a huge first inning in awhile, tonight would be a good time for that. I'm thinking 5,6,7 runs......let's do that.

The Faillies got blasted 13-4 in game 1 of their DH with the Gnats today, lulz.....they now have the exact same record as the Brewers for the last wild card spot with 5 games left. The Faillies last three are in Houston and the Brewers play Arizona at home.
