Yu Darvish RHP, #11
vs
Kyle Muller LHP, #66
David O'Brien @dobrienatl 12:30pm, Sunday #Braves haven’t announced Monday starter vs. Padres’ Yu Darvish, but all signs point to Kyle Muller. Rookie lefty has 15 K and 2 BB in 10 innings over two starts (1.80 ERA) since return to Triple A.
Touki Toussaint & Charlie Morton will start Tues. & Wed. vs. Padres TBA & TBA.

Guess we are in for a good butt whippin this week
But we might pull off one W with one of those run bunched games and the total numbers will show our offense is not that bad

This is what I imagine Snitker's brain would look like if an MRI was done on it:

This very easily could have been a 3 game sweep and you saw what it became with this bullpen.
Watching this team is the sports fandom equivalent of PTSD.

A good start, but the Braves bullpen problems go way beyond Minter. And it’s not just a problem for the rest of 2021. They need to get some viable arms for a chance in 2022 as well.

They need to get some viable arms for a chance in 2022 as well. I think it goes even deeper. The entire "business model" if you will, that is the Braves' pitching department is screwed up. These guys can't all be this bad. We used to be the best at developing pitchers, and now we're the worst.

I wonder if the sticky stuff crackdown has anything to do with minter’s pronounced struggles

When Newcomb has a few bad outings 2-3 weeks from now we’ll send him down and bring Minter back up and hope somehow something changes.

I wonder if the sticky stuff crackdown has anything to do with minter’s pronounced struggles I don't think so. Aside from one year with the Braves, he hasn't been good.
