We have to sell anything we can get a bag of balls or better for.

He could be back by July of 2022. But why rush him back. Time to sell Freeman, Dansby, Ozuna ,

Play Ender a bit... see if by chance he can flash a tiny bit of that late season hotness he gets from time to time and maybe someone needs a defensive backup come sell time. Trade him for anything.
Call up Camargo and play him everyday in left. Mix and match in RF with the rest of them.
Sell anything except for Acuña, Free, Albies, Riley, and our core young starters. Smyly and Morton might can net us something.
Leave Pache and Waters in AAA for now... I don't want to wreck their confidence right now.

Devastating news not for just us Braves fans, but MLB as a whole.

The hope on Camargo is that playing everyday, maybe he can show enough to get something for him at the deadline..
same for Ender.. his contract ends this year so no one would be on the hook for an overpriced 2022, and his pro-rated remainder for 2021 is low enough that someone who wanted a defensive backup in center may give us a bag of balls.
Pach and/or Waters would feel too much pressure to replace RAJ if called up and inserted as a starter, and I don't want them called up to sit on the bench. Continue to let them get full-time AB's in the minors and don't call them up until the rosters expand and the AAA season is over.

Smyly and Morton might can net us something. Leave Pache and Waters in AAA for now... I don't want to wreck their confidence right now. I wouldn't bring Camargo up, he's still hitting over .300 and his OPS is still low .900. He HAS to be garnering interest with that. Nothing spectacular but you gotta take what you can get. I'm convinced he can hit in the big leagues, but I'm just as convinced he has a mental block at this point when it comes to Atlanta. I would be afraid if we bring him up we could completely destroy any value he has at this point.
Waters and Pache neither one are ready, I would not want to mess with their confidence either. If we're going to choose one I'd pick Pache and I thin that's what they'd do. Waters is just WAY too inconsistent still. He's hot right now, but just finished a 1-35 streak where he struck out 21 times. And that's against MINOR league pitching. I'm starting to like his upside more than I did before, but I think it would be wrong to try to bring him along now.
Play Ender every day and take our beating. I don't think there's a snowballs chance in hell anyone would want him unless we ate most of his contract, and if we were willing to do that he wouldn't even be with us now we would have paid him to go away by now. But there's no reason to waste anything on trying to salvage this season now. Just take our lumps and regroup for next year.

Devastating news not for just us Braves fans, but MLB as a whole. The Marlins announcers were really jerks the last few weeks about the way the Braves were acting over Acuna being hit again, but they were really professional today the way they handled the injury. They said that everybody needs to understand that the passion Acuna plays with is what makes him the great player he is and they heaped a lot of praise on him and talked about how much fun it is to watch him play. It does leave a big hole in the game for everybody.

We're screwed for a while. A year is generally the best case scenario for an ACL. I don't know that Waters and/or Pache will feel pressure if it's handled correctly. I'm just thinking about my selfish enjoyment of seeing them play everyday to try and find a silver lining, maybe. I don't know. it is all I know for sure, because we just went from a team that still could have had a good second half to one with no chance.
