All of the dansby love finally subsided huh? Replacement level scrub like almonte and heredia Hey just out of curiosity... where were you the entirety of last season while he was performing very well? We missed you. Haters gonna hate. I wonder if Dansby stole his girlfriend somewhere along the way?

I love how Acuna never believes he can be called out on strikes. He should know the strike zone by now.

The Pirates announcers just mentioned that .278 is the 10th best batting average in the National League right now.
WOW!
Freddie is about to move in to the top 10!
that cant be right can it I didn't think so either, but it's true. Freddie was 15th before tonight, we have three guys in the top 15!

Snit could have started Arcia at short yesterday or today either one, with today being the better idea because Dansby hasn't hit a lick on the road. Sarge just can't think or something. or at least let him work crap out from the 8th spot in the batting order. I don't ever like to see Dansby batting 8th because one of his many problems is his willingness to chase, and the 8th place hitter is going to see more pitches outside the zone than anyone else.
He should bat 7th. Unless we just want him to work on plate discipline, and nobody in the big leagues even knows what that means anymore.

I really wish we would have gotten a couple of more in that 1st. This team leaves an inordinate amount of runners on base.

Well I was thinking maybe put into the 8th spot and seeing nothing in the zone, maybe he would lay off. In the 5th spot I think he feels he has to deliver RBI hits and is trying too hard. What drives me crazy though is that I have noticed things in his swing myself and even if I am wrong about those things, I don't see anything being done. He's not changing his hand position or stance, and certainly isn't trying to keep his head level on his swings. It drives me crazy that he is still out there in the same spot, doing the exact same obviously bad stuff... and the manager is not doing anything.

95 Ks for Hairsby, 3rd most in the NL.
Does not need to be hitting any higher than 7th.

FF w/ DOUBLE in between the two outfielders !! Looked like one of the OFers could have caught that. A HR in most parks.

Earlier: David O'Brien @dobrienatl Dansby struck out with two on for the second out of the 1st. That's his 95th strikeout in 84 games, third-most whiffs in the NL.
