We might as well pitch Muller against deGrom because we already know we aren't going to score any runs in that game anyway.

David O'Brien @dobrienatl Ian Anderson and lefty prospect Kyle Muller will start for the #Braves in Monday's doubleheader at New York against the Mets, in order to be announced later. It'll be Muller's first start and second MLB appearance.

We might as well pitch Muller against deGrom because we already know we aren't going to score any runs in that game anyway. The only chance is if deGrom is really off or leaves early due to the shoulder. If that happens, Muller could win that game. It makes total sense to do what you said and then pitch Anderson against "unannounced". That however would require some degree of common sense from the effin moron that wasted Matzek in a blowout loss with 5 games in 3 days, and used Tomlin in back to back high leverage situations with much better options available. Dead serious.... That is a really smart move, and Snitker is incapable of anything like that. He is a BAD checkers player in a Masters chess tournament.

I mean let's remember... this is the dumb MF who didn't start his #1 pitcher until the 3rd game of a playoff series.
Players like him like they do their grandpa because he's a swell guy, but he's a AA level X and O manager.

Let's also remember this is the same organization that brought you this: ... so doing stupid shiz with pitchers is in their DNA

In other news, I just found out this AM that the Hawks advanced (not an NBA follower) to the conference finals, which is cool. They might just have their own Steph Curry in Mr. Young.

In other news, I just found out this AM that the Hawks advanced (not an NBA follower) to the conference finals, which is cool. They might just have their own Steph Curry in Mr. Young. The Hawks made the bold move before the All-Star break moving on from HC Lloyd Pierce (good guy good basketball man) to Coach Nate Mc Milan at the time the team slipped to 14-20. They were 11th seeded at the time. Finished the regular season 41-31 and have won two rounds in the playoffs so far. Could another ATL team follow up and use this as an example? Hmmm The Falcons on the other hand stayed too long with the former Bozo HC Dan Quinn, good guy, players loved him but the record was what it was. The Braves, well we are in a holding pattern, when will they make the inevitable more

Your post seems to suggest that deGrom is a mere human, which simply isn't the case

Because its deGrom , and especially in a 7 inning affair, I'm almost ok with writing game 1 as a loss.
Really need to win game 2 though for sure.

*** WEATHER UPDATE*** METMAN WEATHER SERVICES 21 June 2021 4:45 PM EDT New York City Metro Area BRAVES GAME DOUBLEHEADER FORECAST (5:10 PM first game)
Game Time Forecast 5 PM-12 AM: Intermittent clouds for game 1 becoming mostly cloudy for game 2 and very humid with a chance of showers or an isolated thunderstorm, especially in game 2. Expect temperatures to be in the low to mid 80's for the start of game 1 and dip to the mid 70's by midnight. Winds for game 1 will be S at 10 -15 MPH with higher gusts shifting to the SW for game 2 at 6-12 MPH and not quite as gusty absent any local convective activity. Max 6 hour gust is 33 MPH. Most showers and any thunderstorms should stay to the west and north of the ball park, however, can not rule out a shower or isolated thunderstorm, especially between 10 PM and midnight but possibly as early as 8 PM as some showers will be nearby in NJ and southern NY. Blended model derived guidance suggests precipitation is generally expected to be <.1" before midnight with the GFS (Global Forecast System) model being an outlier wanting to bring in a few showers and maybe a thunderstorm in between 8 PM and midnight. The GFS is backed up by 19Z HRRR and several high resolution window (HRW) models in the 9 PM-midnight time frame showing light showers in the vicinity so I though it deserved mentioning and something to watch for later tonight. Most regional and other HIRES models tend to keep the precipitation just west and north. Current radar is absent of any echoes in eastern PA, NJ, or southern NY. I'll check the radar between games and give a quick update.
P.S. Severe thunderstorm watch here in south central PA so I wouldn't be surprised if my satellite goes out a time or two tonight.
-PA GO BRAVES!!!
