Can we muster a rally like we have so many times over the last 3 years? That'd be a big negatory there, Teddy Bear. Not picking on you, but baseball is funny that way. As soon as you (anyone) thinks one thing is certain.. you up and take 2 of 3 from the Dodgers. It's why I try and just comment on what has happened instead of trying to guess about what will or will not happen.

Ain't no thang. I make posts like that hoping to be wrong. The Braves got some work to do to make me a believer again, though. As of right now, last night is just an outlier.
BTW, I'm getting really concerned about Freeman. He's like 5 for his last 30.......again. He'll have a good game, maybe 2 good games, and then he drops right back into his season-long slump. It's totally uncharacteristic of him, and when you factor in his age (yeah, he's still not quite 32, but.....) you can't help but wonder in the back of your mind whether or not he's going into a steady decline. Tall guys in particular can fall off a cliff. I remember Dale Murphy couldn't hit a homerun if you set the ball on a tee for him at the end of his career. When he was 31, he had an OPS+ of 157, and at age 32 (you guessed it!) it was 106, which was his best year after his age 31 season. He was still a decent player until he was 34/35, but only a shadow of what he had been. He was done at 35, though. He was finally shipped to Colorado to try and collect the 2 homers he needed to reach 400, but he couldn't even do that. I LOVED Dale Murphy, hell I wore number 3 because of Dale Murphy. Is something similar happening with Freeman? There's no way to know, but there are a lot of similarities physically, and they are both great family men who put their families first (which we all should). Like I said, you can't help but wonder........

I did see somewhere in the last few days that Freeman’s average exit velocity Is the same this year as last year, 92. Thats doesn’t excite me, but it is better than hearing its 82 this year and was 92 last year.

Like I said, it does turn for a game or two, then it's right back to another 5 for 25. It's strange.
