People say wins don’t mean anything, and they don’t now. When Sutton pitched, they meant something. 200 plus innings was routine. Now a guy’s a workhorse if he pitches 200 innings.

How many guys even pitch 200 innings now - there are fewer and fewer guys every yr that even get to the qualifying 162 innings. Maybe that standard needs to be lowered in qualifying for the ERA title. Lower it to what 140 maybe?
