I was at a doctors office this week where I go once per week for a treatment, and his nurse said to another patient regarding masks “it’s just so frustrating that people won’t just do what they’re told.” I was like lollers, she has no idea how lucky she is she didn’t saythat to me. Imagine where this country would be if people just did what thy were told. Some of us get what's going on now. The problem is that by the time enough people get it, it might be too late. Corruption thrives on stupidity, and the US has a sheetload of that.

From what I've read the vaccine only reduces symptoms, it does not prevent transmission. Those who get it will still have to social distance and wear masks at all times to prevent infecting others that either can't get the vaccine or choose not to get it for other reasons. I've heard similar things, and it doesn't make any sense--if social distancing and masks work, what good is the vaccine?
It's one more thing that "might" help....a little bit. Maybe. But we're not sure.
If they told people they had to be sterilized because it "might" help......About 75% of the population would ask where they should go to have it done and how quickly can we do it?
Funny you mention that. I just read there is something in the vaccine that could cause sterilization in women. Who knows how much of that is true but once you get it you can't undo your choice so you'd better be sure.

And there's no way they can know things like that because they've pushed this so fast.
I don't get the excitement over it, but then I'm not a sheeple. The vaccine doesn't solve anything, I've read at best they think a person will be "immune" for two months and need another shot, there's going to be initial reactions and initial sicknesses from it, and you have no clue whatsoever about the long term problems. I'm especially leery of it because I almost died 6 years ago from a total systemic reaction to a titanium dental implant. Those only have to be 85% titanium, and I turned out to be super allergic to vanadium and nickel, two of the alloy fillers in the implant. I was truly one in a million, I ended up getting to know about 50 people around the world who had the same reaction I did, but it makes me super leery of unknowns now. I barely lived through it and I've had terrible health issues ever since then. My body was so screwed up we've just now (6 years later) got my kidneys and other things operating at a level where my body can take heavy duty treatments I need to get my health back.

You don't mess around with your health. I've been blessed in that area, and I don't like screwing with it in any way. I got a hellacious flu a few years back, so I started taking the flu shot, and it seems to work. I haven't gotten COVID yet, or at least if I did, I was unaware of it, and I haven't been a mask-wearing hermit, either. I'm thinking I'll hold off on the vaccine until someone can convince me that, A) it is safe, B) it works, and C) I need it.

Once your health gets damaged you have a hell of a constant battle on your hands and you never feel good. People may say that’s a reason to get the vaccine. Given the survival rate From the virus and the unknowns with the vaccine, I would disagree.

More to my point, what about Bruce Lee? Bruce Lee died at age 32 from an ALLERGIC REACTION TO MEDICATION.......THIRTY-TWO.

Since this has become pretty much a non baseball tread, I am moving it.

You do have the option of just ignoring it.
