Are they really thinking about having Tomlin start (or I guess open) tommorrow? Maybe he can go a decent 3, you never know. Our guys have 3 chances to win one love those odds We beat the oddsmakers big time tonight I hate the notion of Tomlin starting. I think he matches up terribly against this team. I don't like the idea of letting them back in to the series in any form. I agree. Tomlin changed the momentum once, I don't want him changing it again! This may sound absurd but I'd rather see Wright again than Tomlin since he only pitches about 25 pitches 2 days ago. Maybe we could get 3 innings of 1 run ball or maybe I am dreaming. He's gotta' be better than what he showed 2 days ago.

In his post game presser Snit said everyone would be available for game 5, including Wright, but never committed to who would “start” ..IIRC

Good article on how the brilliant Dave Roberts F'd up by keeping Urias in to pitch after they went up 11-0 in the first inning. Why have one of your best pitchers throw 101 pitches in a game that was already decided? Sets up the Braves well for the next three games (if necessary) with Fried going in game six and Anderson in game seven. Hope it doesn't go that far. www.mlb.com/news/dodgers-braves-pitching-for-rest-of-nlcs

I would start someone like Minter tonight and see if he can give you two or three innings. If he keeps you in the game or the Braves are ahead follow him up with Wright or Ynoa. If the Braves get behind or are getting whupped like the other night, bring in Tomlin or Dayton.

I don't think Wright would be an absurd move...
He only threw a small number of pitches. If Snit has said he is available tonight then I would start him. If he can be on, I think he can give you 6 with no worries about his arm.
I want to end this tonight so we can set up our WS rotation.
I want to end this tonight because I think a game 6 would actually put more pressure on us because the prospect of it going 7 would bring in a lot of self doubt after not closing out a 3-1 lead.

He doesn't hate the Braves. He's talked about going out of his way to not seem like he's a Braves Homer and present himself as objective. I think he's just overdoing it. Well, that's good to know.......and he's definitely overdoing it.

Lot of speculation that they're going to start Minter tonight and let him go 1 inning and that Wright may be up after him. I have no idea if that's true but several of the people that seem to be right about these things are saying that's the most likely scenario. I haven't seen anyone confirm it yet though.

Yes...if we can win tonight then we have Fried, Anderson and Wilson for games 1,2,3 and 5,6,7. If we don't you're looking at Fried not going until Game 3 (probably Anderson and Wilson in 1 and 2) should we advance to the WS. If it goes 7 then Anderson wouldn't be able go until game 4 after Fried in game 3. Games 1 and 2 probably Wilson then bullpen.

I think Snit will still see Wright as #3.

I don't see anyways Ynoa is available for this game, he threw 90 pitches 2 days ago, which is almost 30 pitches above his career high for pitches in an outing.

I wouldn't risk $5 that Hamels will ever be healthy enough and effective enough to pitch in the big leagues again, just my opinion. Yea, would rather move on from Hamels he is done Got to look at the list of available arms that could be in the bargain section in February You can get some useful guys that late in FA
