Would we still have to pay Ender's remaining salary in that situation? No we just give Pablo a free year of access to the players food tables. Have the bean counters run a cost analysis on this? I ask only because I'm not confident that this will benefit the organization from a financial perspective.

IMO.

IMO. If he would have been able to get 7 or 8 innings pitched on 100 pitches I think it would have been a smart move, but the more i think about, to sacrifice him for only 5 innings does seem like a bad play. He should be able to be able to pitch relief in the Game 7, and maybe an inning in game 6, eventhough he has missed a ton already in his young career with injuries.
